GARRETT, Anna M. Garrett - Putnam

Mrs. Anna M Garrett, 92, formerly of Fillmore, died Sunday morning at the Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Greencastle where she had been a patient for 4 ½ years. Mrs. Garrett was born on Feb. 25, 1888 in Illinois, the daughter of Ezekiel and Hattie (Wyant) Garrett.

She was an over 50-year member of the Fillmore Christian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jewell (Mary) Higgins, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Max (Hattie) Allen, Terre Haute: two sons, Arthur Thomas Garrett, Groveland, and Robert Dennis Garrett, Forest; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Garrett in 1930. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Leroy and Walter, and a daughter Gladys Beard.

Services are scheduled at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home in Greencastle with the Rev. Paul M Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at the Fillmore Cemetery. Friends may call 2-9 p. m. Tuesday at the funeral Home.
